OUR HISTORY IN PICTURES
March 2016 - The first iteration of Kingston Royals FC (London Accommodation) - wins the 2016 VAFF Chinese New Year Cup.

July 2016 - Charlene Leung & George Paschalidis expand to Women's Futsal with recruitment for a women's team for the Cairns International. The team would be called VAFF Stars.

October 2016 - VAFF Stars go undefeated at the Cairns International, running out 2-1 winners in the final against local favourites, Cairns Vipers Futsal Club.

October 2016 - VAFF Stars officially become Kingston Royals FC with one women's team, our goal to drive positive change to the futsal landscape. We begin competing in the FFV - JSL. We finish the season in 4th place.

January 2017 - Kingston Royals finish 3rd at the FAF National Championships, losing to SA Regional 1-0 in the semi-final.
5 Royals are selected to play for Australia at the FAF Women's World Cup in 2017: Liesl Woods, Louise McMullen, Leigh Perez, Charlene Leung and Julie Tran. |
February 2017 - Kingston Royals finish 3rd at their first Ballarat Cup, losing to East City 2-0 in their semi final.
The Royals defeat Carlton Heart twice in the competition, 2-1 and 4-3 respectively. |
February 2017 - Kingston Royals Old Boys (previously London Accommodation) win the Division 2 Championship with a 7-4 win over Naughty Norf. The team secures promotion to Division 1.

March 2017 - Kingston Royals Women join the 2017 Series Futsal Victoria season. Our first ever Series Futsal match is against Carlton Heart, who we defeat 3-2. We finish the season in 4th, qualifying for Series Futsal Australia.

August 2017 - Kingston Royals (previously Doncaster FC) win the State League One title, sealing it with a 6-2 win over 2nd place Melbourne University. We win our final match of the season 7-2 against RMIT.
George Paschalidis is announced as State League One MVP. October 2017 - Kingston Royals Women head to Cairns for the International, going back to back and going undefeated once again. We defeat Cairns Vipers 1-0 in the Grand Final.
January 2018 - We finish in 5th place after a tough first season in the State League Championship. Teymour Shafaei (above) announced co-MVP with George Paschalidis.
September 2018 - Our men go the distance and win the ellusive ASEAN Games title, by the score of 2-0 in the grand final.
May 2019 - Our men go back to back at the MASCA Championships, once again going undefeated. We won the grand final 5-2.

September 2017 - Kingston Royals Women head to Adelaide to play in Series Futsal Australia (SFA). Our first match of SFA is against Carlton Heart, who we defeat 4-1.

April 2018 - Another trophy for the Royals - going back to back at the MASCA Championships. We go undefeated, winning the grand final 4-2.
December 2018 - Our Queens and CDD teams win their respective minor premierships and grand finals. The Queens winning their grand final with a record breaking 21-0 scoreline, whilst CDD defeated Jack FC 6-3.
October 2019 - We enter our first ever Women's outdoor tournament, finishing runners-up at the Women's Football Carnival of Nations, held at the Darebin International Sports Centre. |
